The Branded team couldn't be more proud to share that our portfolio partner Bbot was recently acquired by DoorDash.
Bbot was one of Branded's earliest investments and we are so excited for the team on being recognized by one of the industry’s leading technology platforms.
If you know Team Branded you know our thesis is operator centric and when we met Bbot they fit the bill almost too perfectly. Through its flexible platform, Bbot is helping operators increase revenue and reduce staffing costs without compromising on hospitality.
So what does this acquisition mean for the operator? Together, Bbot and DoorDash will be able to better support the evolving needs of restauranteurs and other food and beverage venue operators. By Bbot becoming part of DoorDash, the company will be able to provide restaurants more solutions online and in-store.

As a part of the acquisition, DoorDash will be waiving monthly subscription fees for digital in-store and online ordering products through August 31, 2022.
